According to a recent study, the revenue for human resources and payroll software is expected to rise over the next five years to an upwards of $4 billion. Private investment in computers and software and adoption of the Software as a Service (Saas) business model are factors in the revenue growth. Some organizations will return to outsourcing HR and payroll as corporate profit continues to rise.
